General
-
Be
courteous to the salesman, Deliveryman, and Field Staff.
-
Be
POLITE to your valued Customers and attend to them with
a smiling face, explain doses, duration of therapy, side
effects and adverse reactions of the drug etc.

Keep
sufficient storage accommodation and space for future
expansion.
-
Keep
adquedate inventory and avoid unhealthy competition.
-
Night
Service may be arranged and provided on rotation basis
and inform the Authority to ensure sufficient security
measures.

The
items of a new company should be returned to the stockists
if they are not sold within 3 (three) months from the
date of supply.
-
Keep
a monthly check of near expiry products and arrange to
return the same to the concerned supplier.
-
Check
BONUS OFFERS with the wholesaler before placing orders
and share this information with the fellow Retailers.
-
Payments
should be made to the suppliers within the stipulated
time and date to ensure regular supply.
-
Return
non-moveable and slow -moving items expiry date.
-
See
that your expiry/breakage claims are settled within the
stipulated time
Maintenance
- If
possible computerize your business operations. This will
give you inventory control, stock maintenance, trading Accounts,
balance Sheets, profit and Loss etc.
- Insure
your Premises against Theft, Burglary, Fire, natural
calamities etc.
- See
that your shop is free from PESTS by calling the Pest Control
Company or by using different pest control measures.
- Check
your Electric Lines/meters atleast least once in a year
to avoid any short circuit accidents or meter overcharging.
- Keep
the surroundings of you premises clean and make them environment
friendly.
- Check
your Refrigerator once a year to obtain required temperature
for storing vaccines, tetanus toxid etc. according to drug
rules.
- Keep
one fire Extinguisher and First Aid Box in your premises.
- Dust
the furniture once a week to remove dust and cob-webs.
- Make
annual contracts for your Refrigerator, Air conditioner,
Generator, etc.
- Paint
your licensed premised at least once in 2 (two) Years.
- Keep
a copy of MIMS, CIMS or IDR to know about the new information
of products and their indications
- In
the event of an illegible prescription - contact the Doctor
over phone to avoid wrong dispensing of medicines.
- For
regular customers of your locality, you can offer service
like Home delivery.
- Keep
all the phone numbers of the doctors, Nursing Homes, Clinics,
Hospitals and Ambulances handy, so that you can help your
customers immediately if they ask for your guidance or advice
during Emergency (C.D.A.G. Directory)
- Keep
one Oxygen Cylinder for Emergency.
- Arrange
theft alarm/ emergency alarm in your shop
- Do
not keep highly inflammable agents like Petrol/Kerosene
etc. in your premises.

Keep
a Switch-Gear to shut all the Electric lines except the
Refrigerator.
